I am going to court - cover, Latvia

The activity book for children to help them in getting ready for witnessing in court. It is dedicated for younger children (5-12 years old) and should be filled in by a child under the supervision of a professional or a parent or a caregiver. By short and easy description it helps to understand the institution of court justice and the role and obligations of a little witness. The book was published in Poland in 2002.

The trainings were conducted on the 21st of November and 12th of December 2006 in two Bulgarian towns - Dupnitsa and Razgrad. Thus a wider range of professionals were trained. The main theme of the trainings was the Diagnosis and Treatment of Child Abuse, with the emphasis on the Treatment of Children Victims of Domestic Violence issue.

On the 5th and 6th of December Partners Bulgaria Foundation conducted in Sofia a subregional training on the topic of Working with Children at Risk and Children Victims of Abuse. The trainers were Margarita Daskalova from the consulting and training organization Variant B and John Beckett, a British expert and consultant.

Police officers, social workers and representatives of the Commission for combating the antisocial actions of juveniles took part in two local supervisions held in Bulgaria on the 22nd of November and 13th of December 2006. The main topic of both supervisions was the Diagnosis and Treatment of Specific Cases of Child Abuse.
