6th Conference “Helping children – victims of crime”

On 26th and 27th October 2009 in Warsaw annual conference devoted to the issue of assistance to abused children and protection of children participating in legal procedures was organised by the Nobody's Children Foundation, Social Policy Department of Warsaw City Hall and Ministry of Justice. Being the most important and the largest of this kind of events in Poland the conference gathered more then 550 professionals working in the area of psychology, law, social services and non-governmental organizations supporting children.

Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online

Polish and German Safer Internet Centres are organizing the 3rd International Conference "Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online". The event will take place in Warsaw at the Marriott Hotel on September 29-30.

International day of SOS lines for children

International day of SOS lines for children is celebrated every year in May. Main purpose of this event is to disseminate the idea of assisting children through helplines and promote the existing ones. It was initiated by worldwide network of SOS lines - Child Helpline International. This year the day was celebrated under the leading theme: "Connect with children!".

Polish Network against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children

In June 2009 a group of Polish organizations providing assistance to abused children and children at risk joined ECPAT International Network as a new affiliate group. The cooperation was initiated and is coordinated by the Nobody's Children Foundation.
