Improving competencies of East-European professionals, who work with abused children, is realized through two-day trainings taking place twice a year in each country. Specific aspect of the year theme, group of professional participating and trainers are chosen by local coordinators of the project according to the identified shortcomings and weaknesses in the knowledge and skills of that group.

Local trainings in Lithuania in 2012

Two local trainings titled „Teaching parents how to raise children without spanking" for 40 professionals (psychologists, pedagogues, phisisians and social workers) were carried out in Lithuania on 14st and 15st of November and on 19th and 20th of December 2012.

Local trainings in Moldova in 2012

Two local trainings titled „Without a smack? How to set boundaries for children with love and respect" for 42 professionals (psychologists, pedagogues, phisisians and social workers) were carried out in Moldova on 22nd and 23rd of November and on 29th and 30th of November 2012. The trainings were based on the scenarios developed by Nobody's Children Foundation.

Local trainings in Latvia in 2012

Two local trainings titled „Without a smack? How to set boundaries for children with love and respect" were carried out in Latvia on 20th and 21st of August and on 17th and 24th of October 2012. The trainings were based on the scenarios developed by Nobody's Children Foundation and targeted at professionals conducting seminars and workshops for parents.
