8th International Conference Helping Children-Victims of Crime in Poland

8th International Conference „Helping Children-Victims of Crime" is organized by Nobody's Children Foundation, the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Social Policy of Warsaw's City Hall. It is also one of the events accompanying Polish Presidency in the Council of the European Union. The conference will take place on 24th-25th October 2011 in Warsaw.

The report on Presentation and Launch of Child-Friendly Interviewing Rooms in Western NIS/ Eastern EU Neighboring Region (Belarus, Moldova, The Ukraine) has been published in June 2011 by the International Center La Strada (Moldova).

Report on child interviewing in Poland

The court files research of interviewing child-victims and witnesses of crime in Poland was carried out by the Nobody's Children Foundation in 2010 under the project supported by the European Commission - Directorate General Justice, Freedom and Security. The examination covered the records of criminal cases that ended finally in 2008, in which there was at least one hearing of a minor (under 18 years of age).

International conference on the child-victim of crime in Lithuania

Children Support Centre organized an international conference "Child - victim of abuse: multidisciplinary attitude and international experience" on the 24th May in Vilnius, Lithuania. 150 specialists from Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria working in legal, child protection, social, psychological help fields participated in the conference.
