Supervisions

International supervision in Bulgaria

25 professionals participated in two international supervisions conducted by Anu Aromaki Stratos and Jeanne Meyer on 28th and 29th of November 2012. The following topics were raised:

  • preparation for forensic interviewing of children
  • forensic interviewing of child-victim of abuse 
The participants  evaluated the supervision as extremely useful and inspiring.

Local supervisions in Latvia

42 professionals participated in two local supervisions on 4th - 5th of December and 18th - 19th of December 2012 in Lithuania.The first supervision was dedicated to  discussing the cases of phisical and emotional abuse of children, sharing the most difficult and challenging cases and supervising the intervention aproaches.  During the second supervision the cases of child sexual abuse were discussed.

International supervision in Latvia

33 psychologists and social workers participated in the international supervision carried out by Mimi Strange and Anders Kirstein Jensen from Denmark on 27th of November 2012. The meeting was dedicated to children with sexual behaviour problems and adolescents with harmful behaviour. Most of the participants stated that this supervision will help them in their practiacal work with children and young people with sexually harmful behaviour. 

Local supervisions in Ukraine

38 professionals from social service centres for family, children and youth and representatives of NGO's participated in two local supervisions which took place on 15th of December 2012 and between 19th and 21th of December 2012 in Ukraine. The first local supervision was dedicated to the problem of early disclosure of child sexual abuse with the focuss on small children abuse. The second local supervision presented training program and materials for work with parents in the field of parenting skills enhancement and positive methods of upbringing children.
