Resource center in polish language

The resource centre in the polish language http://fdn.pl/baza-wiedzy has been developed in the frame of the "Chidlhood without abuse" project by Nobody's Children Foundation. It contains materials to such topics as: child sexual abuse, violence against children, commercial sexual exploitation of children, children participating in legal procedures, positive parenting and protection of children in the internet. The materials include articles, brochures, research, legal acts, -e-learnings and other important documents.

International supervision in Lithuania

On 4-5th of February 2011 Alicja Budzynska, psychologist from the Nobody's Children Foundation (Poland) held internation supervision for Lithuania's psychologists working with children -victims of sexual abuse. The topic was the clinical evaluation of children in cases of sexual abuse. In the supervision participated 22 lithuanian psychologists.

The UNICEF report on child disciplinary practises at home

UNICEF launched their new report  "Child disciplinary practises at home", which revealed that three out of four children surveyed experience some form of violent discipline, about half experience some form of physical punishment, and three in four experience psychological aggression.

The report on the Situation of Roma Children in Moldova

The report on the Situation of Roma Children in Moldova aims to call for action on social inclusion of them. The purpose of the study is to analyse the situation of Roma children in the Republic of Moldova through the synthesis of available data and information on Roma children in Moldova as well as by checking data reliability in order to identify the gaps and provide recommendations for further development of surveys and studies in this domain.


Campaign against child trafficking in Romania

The National Agency against Human Trafficking (ANITP) launched a campaign for the prevention of human trafficking, targeting mainly unemployed people, youth who are looking for jobs and people with disabilities. The campaign, called I’m looking for a job… on the Internet” is aimed at warning target groups about the risk of criminal groups operating in virtual space. The campaign will be conducted until December 31 in Bucharest, the main message of the campaign is “A click in the virtual world can make you a victim a human trafficking in the real world“.

The report on the situation of street children

The report provides an analysis of the situation of street involved children, how their issues are currently addressed within legislative and policy frameworks, and highlights programmatic initiatives being implemented by International and local NGOs. Its aim is to inform and provide suggestions for improved practice by NGOs working with street involved children.

CRIN reports on forms of violence against children

CRIN has developed a series of reports that provide insight into the various forms of violence that exist against children, including those found within the spheres of physical and psychological violence, neglect and exploitation.

New website of the Violence is Preventable

The new website of the project Violence is Preventable has been launched. VIP is an abuse prevention programme for children of all ages that provides a wide range of resources available for use by teachers, educators, leaders and communities.

 


Helpline for children- Bulgaria

The Bulgarian National Helpline for Children offers information, counseling and help to children for a huge spectrum of problems. It uses harmonized European number 116 111 functions through a call-center at the State Agency for Child Protection (SACP).

Publications on the child sexual abuse

The manual “Sexually abused child. Diagnosis, intervention, assistance” and the translation of  Bengt Soderstrom book “Methods of therapy of sexually abused children” were published (in polish language) by the Nobody’s Children Foundation in teh frame of the „Childhood against abuse” project. The manual is the first complex book about the most important issues in the field of child sexual abuse.
