The report is a result of Commissioner's assessment visit to Macedonia in February 2008.
Among other things, the report is addressing rights of children and the issue of violence against children.

Macedonian organisation First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi started with third edition of their responsible parenthood campaign.

From 10th to 12th December 2008 in Samokov, Macedonia, First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi, carried out a training on the topic of „Multidisciplinary approach in the field of child abuse and neglect - recognizing, understanding, intervening".

On 23rd November a telethon in support of children victims of sexual abuse "Have a Peaceful Dream" has been broadcasted on the first Macedonian National TV Channel. The event was initiated by the Centre for Institutional Development and the First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi.
