Did you talk to your child today?

Macedonian organisation First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi started with third edition of their responsible parenthood campaign. This time the leading slogan is "Did you talk to your child today?"

For that purpose, six motives for billboards with different family situations have been made, some representing parents who are too busy and have no time to talk to their children, and others with parents who pay attention to their children and talk with them about everyday activities.

The visuals, placed in Skopje and other towns of Macedonia, are a way of reminding parents that children need to talk, need to be asked how they feel, how they did at school, and how they get along with their friends.

By this campaign the organizers are continuing the efforts of two previous editions, "Did you hug you child today?" and "Did you tell your child how much you love him/her?", conducted in 2007 and 2008. The aim of the campaigns was to encourage parents to show more affection to their children to help them build their self-confidence and self-respect.

"Did you talk to your child today?" is conducted in partnership with Akzent Media providing 60 locations throughout Macedonia for placing the billboards. Illustrations were made by Smile Cvetanovski.
