Foundation Madara-Bulgaria is announcing International Forum SCHOOL DROPOUT: In Search for the right approach to take place on 29th -31st August 2012 in Sofia . It is addressed to principals of schools, class-teachers, social support agencies, NGOs working with abused and neglected children and other stakeholders interested in the support of children in danger of school dropout from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania.

International supervision with the expert- Vincent Ramon from France, took place in Sofia 7-8 December 2011 and was directed towards 34 socia, workers, psychologists ans pedagogues. The participants presented the cases and discussed them with each other and with the supervisor.

Two local trainings for 50 professionals (social workers and psychologists from different districts of Bulgaria) took place in Bulgaria 17-18 November and 8-9 December 2011. The topic of the first one was “Work with children who have experienced violence” and the second one: “ The significant role of partnership in the psycho-instructive work with children placed in alternative care. Can we tame violence?”

Local supervisions for altogether almost 70 professionals (social workers, psychologists and pedagogues) took place in Bulgaria in November and December 2011. They were devoted to the problem of child sexual abuse and the cases of child-victims were ahared with the experts conducting the supervisions.
