Bulgaria

50 professionals (social workers, psychologists and Social Services Centre's directors) participated in 4 local supervisions which took place on 22nd of March, 19th of September, 29th of September and 17th of December 2012, respectively in Shumen, Dolna Banya, Sofia and Tryavna. Real cases presented by participants were discussed.  All the professionals evaluated the supervisions as very useful.

25 professionals participated in two international supervisions conducted by Anu Aromaki Stratos and Jeanne Meyer on 28th and 29th of November 2012. The following topics were raised:

• preparation for forensic interviewing of children
• forensic interviewing of child-victim of abuse 

The participants  evaluated the supervision as extremely useful and inspiring.

Four local trainings for 51 professionals were carried out in Bulgaria:
one in the city of Shoumen, two in the city of Pernik and one in Sofia, respectively on 25th and 26th of September, 27th and 28th of September, 5th and 6th of October and 21st and 22nd of October.

"Protect me! I am small "campaign was conducted in Bulgaria by Social Activities and Practices Institute between May and December 2012. The press conference which  launched the campaign was a good opportunity  to raise a discussion about negative consequences of corporal punishment and  positive methods of upbringing of small children.
