In the morning of 19th November 2008, when the entire world was celebrating the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse, impressive images appeared in Chisinau: three children with signs of violence on their faces masked in carnival costumes were looking from dozens of city lights placed at trolleybus stations in the capital.

The first web based education on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders in Russian language has been recently developed by the Prevent FAS Research Group.

The FACT (Fight Against Child Trafficking) Project has been implemented by Terre des hommes, in cooperation with Salvati Copiii Moldova since 2004. The objective of the project is to implement preventive measures and provide assistance at a local level.
