Fund Ohrozenych Deti (Fund for Children in Need) is an association working all over the Czech Republic since 1990. It was originally founded as an association for helping foster families. Nowadays workers of the Fund are trying to help neglected, abused and orphaned children who miss the love of their parents. The Fund has 21 branches at the moment working within the whole country and dealing with approximately 2000 cases per year.

Sdruzeni Linka Bezpeci (Safety Line Association) is non-governmental nonprofit organization, which was established in 1994 by most renown Czech specialists in child care. Mission of the Association is to help children in the Czech republic who find themselves in difficult and crisis situation.

The service of Sdruzeni Linka Bezpeci is available for the whole week, 24 hours per day.

The idea to start the "Educational Institute for Child Protection" which would organize the educational activities in the area of prevention of child abuse and neglect and co-ordinate such activities for other NGOs was started under the co-operation on two-year EU project supported by Johnson and Johnson - "Children rights".
