“Children not for Abuse”

The main goals of the organization: to assist in realization of children's rights for protection from all types of exploitation, physical and emotional abuse, cruel, rude and insulting treatment, sexual exploitation and sexual perversions including those coming from parents or persons substituting them and relatives.

Objectives of NGO«Children - not for abuse»:
• social-psychological help for parents and children suffered from cruel treatment;
• attraction of attention to the problem of cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons;
• research of experience in solving problem of cruel treatment with children in the Republic of Belarus and other countries.
For achievement of goals and objectives in accordance with the current legislation NGO«Children - not for abuse» uses the following methods:
• organization and carrying out of measures for prevention of all forms of violence among children, adolescents and youth in educational institutions and domiciliary;
• organization and carrying out of measures for prevention of cruel treatment with children among parents;
• organization and work with children and suffered from violence and their families;
• organization and carrying out of interrogation on the problem of cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons;
• organization and carrying out of seminars, lectures, «round tables» and other actions on the problem of cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons.
• assistance in training of specialists (pedagogues, psychologists, law enforcement officers and officers of health authorities) dealing with cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons;
• cooperation with public institutions and non-governmental organizations on organization and carrying out of activity on prevention cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons;
• publication of questions concerning problems of cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons;
• carrying out among the people educational activity on the problem of cruel treatment with children from the direction of parents or other persons.
