The aims of the Association for Children and YoungPeople CHANCE are: to provide support in the crisis situations to children, young people and their families; to run prevention programmes on various social issues children and young people are affected by; to provide support to parents and teachers in solving children’s and young people’s problems; to provide human rights education and intervene in cases when human rights are violated; to develop and run health education programmes; to provide social and legal education; to organise activities aiming at limiting unemployment among young people; to run various educational activities; to initiate and implement activities for and with disabled people aiming at their integration in the local community; to develop international youth exchange programmes; to implement activities aiming at prevention of marginalisation of socially excluded people; to work for recognising the threats related to using psycho-active substances by young people; to develop creativity among children and young people; to develop the ideals of volunteerism

 Prevention and Social Education Centre UMBRELLA (Centrum Profilaktyki i Edukacji Społecznej PARASOL) is an NGO based in Cracov working mainly with street children and sex workers.

The STACJA Programme

The STACJA Programme is a multiple task project that combines assistance, education, intervention and prevention. The project is aimed at young people from groups whose risk of social exclusion is high. We bridge the gap between people that need specific help or support and the institutions and well-respected organizations that can provide this kind of help.

SOS Childrens Villages

The SOS Children's Village work in Poland started in 1977. SOS Children's Villages is an international non-governmental social development organisation that has been active in the field of children's rights and committed to children's needs and concerns. SOS Children's Villages focuses on family-based, long-term care of children who can no longer grow up with their biological families. At present there are four SOS Children's Villages in Poland, three SOS Youth Facilities and three SOS Social Centres (two of them are transit homes).
