Parental trolling – first judgement in Poland

Father of a two-year-old boy published his naked photo on the Facebook. Baby boy holds a bottle of beer and his second hand is located in his intimate area. Mother asked the men, her former husband, to remove that photo from the social network site. He refused. So she notified the violation to the administrators of Facebook and they removed it. But father added the photo once again. Then mother informed the prosecutor.

The case lasted four years (the child is currently six years old). In the first instance father was acquitted. After appeal the court sentenced him to three months in prison.

Every person, including children, has the right to protect his/her image.
