International supervision in Moldova

In November 2009 National Center for Child Abuse Prevention organised international supervisions for psychologists from temporary placement centres and residential institutions in Moldova. Invited expert, Ausra Kuriene from Lithuania, spoke about psychological intervention and psychotherapy in case of child abuse.

 

She also shared her experience in providing assistance to abused children, mentioning the role of a multidisciplinary teams in complex interventions. During the supervisions several cases of work with abused children have been discussed. The participants highly appreciated opportunity to participate in the supervision and expressed their wish for periodical organisation of such supervisions 2-3 times per year.
