See it, Hear it, Say it in Ukraine

On 4th December Ukrainian See it, Hear it, Say it campaign was initiated with a press conference organised by Child Well - Being Fund and the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports Affairs.

The campaign will last for about three months and will be conducted in the regions of Volyn, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Makeyevka, Zaporozhye, Ivan-Frankivsk, Lugansk, Crimea, Sevastopol, Khmelnitskiy, Cherkassy, Kharkiv. A number of institutions and organisations, including State Social Services for Family, NGOs, medical and educational institutions, have been involved in organising seminars and round tables on child abuse prevention, and distributing posters and leaflets in the frame of the campaign. La Strada Centre contributed by providing an intervention number 8 800 500 33 50 for witnesses and victims of violence. Email addresses of La Strada and Child Well - Being Fund, byutdytynu@ccf.kiev.ua and info@lastrada.org.ua, were also placed on the campaigning materials.


The campaigning materials have been originally created on pro bono basis by the advertising agency DDB Warsaw for the Nobody's Children Foundation. Ukrainian adaptation was prepared by DDB Ukraine. The aim of the campaign is to raise public awareness of the problem of physical abuse of children.
