International Supervision in Bulgaria

International supervision was hold on 26 October 2010 in hotel Diva, Bulgaria. The supervisor was Orthodoxy Solomon- clinical psychologist and family therapist from Nancy, France. She is working in the framework of Transcultural therapy using Greek myths in work with dysfunctional and abusive families. During the supervision she went through the cases of incest and abusive families, which were presented by the participants.

International Supervision in Moldova

International Supervision for 30 specialists from the field of legal examination of cases involving children victims or witnesses of abuse and neglect was hold on September 23rd and 24th. Supervision workshops were moderated by Raul HEIDO, the Prosecutor of the Southern Region of Estonia and organized in Chisinau by the National Centre for Child Abuse Prevention (NCCAP). The international supervision session was held at the premises of the Centre for Psychosocial Assistance to Child and Family „Amicul”. The specialists participating in the workshops have experience of cooperating with the National Centre for Child Abuse Prevention (NCCAP) in the field of examination of cases of violence against children.

 


Poland: Assisting sexually abused children

On 16th and 17th February 2010 Tink Palmer conducted supervision and workshop for psychologists and pedagogues working with children victim of sexual abuse. The supervision and the workshop focused around methods of psychological assistance to children who suffered abuse, especially with the use of new technologies, and solutions in this field applied in UK. The training took place in the Nobody's Children Foundation "Mazowiecka" Centre in Warsaw.

International supervision in Ukraine

International supervision in Ukraine was conducted by Daniela Popescu, psychologist, director of the National Centre for Child Abuse Prevention in Moldova. The event was organized by Child Well-Being Fund Ukraine for specialists who work in the field of child abuse and neglect prevention.
