“Children’s Rights on the Internet - Safe and Protected” – seminar in Macedonia

On May 6th - 8th 2008, a seminar in the frame of the "Protection and safety of children and their rights on the Internet" project was held in Ohrid, Macedonia.

The project, financed by the European Union, is implemented by the Foundation Metamorphosis in cooperation with the First Children's Embassy in the World - Megjashi. The project aims to raise awareness of threats on the Internet, among children in Macedonia, their parents and teachers, as well as the NGO sector and media.

The seminar in Ohrid gathered members of the civil society organizations and representatives from elementary and high schools. It consisted of three workshops: concerning child rights, personal data protection, and the project website content.
