Conference in Druskininkai
Between 19th and 21st of October 2006 members of Childhood without Abuse Project took part in the conference held in Druskininkai, Lithuania. The main problem presented and discussed during this meeting was the situation of children giving evidence in court. The thematic sessions covered the whole range of issues concerning this problem– diagnosis in child abuse cases, ways of helping these children and their families and practical interviewing guidelines.

The conference was also an excellent occasion to present legal regulations protecting child who are victims of crime and to work on organizing an efficient support for child witnesses in countries participating in the project.
