The conference on Evidence-Based Mental Health Promotion and Prevention of Mental Disorders

The conference “European Debate on Evidence-Based Mental Health Promotion and Prevention of Mental Disorders”, will be held in The Hague, The Netherlands, in February 14th-15th 2011.  This conference is organized by the Government of Catalonia and by Radboud University from Nijmegen and is the endpoint of the European Project DataPrev (“Developing the Evidence base for Mental Health Promotion and Prevention in Europe: Database of programs and the production of guidelines for policy and practice”).

A unique feature of the DataPrev Conference will be its focus on the participation of its attendants, reducing to a minimum the type of session consisting of a lecture delivered by an expert. The main events of the Conference will take place through participative roundtables, parallel working groups and creative thinking sessions chaired by members of the DataPrev research team. On the Conference Website at http://www.dataprevproject.net/conference2011/ can be found further details on the programmed and practical issues.

The inscription to the event is free of charge and that the organization has made available a program of economic stipends for attendants travelling from a selected list of countries (i.e., Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey). More information can be found on the Conference Website
