When a child is a witness in court

The brochure When a child is a witness in court, published in the frame of Childhood without Abuse Project, is addressed to child witnesses' parents and caregivers. It explains parents' rights as well as the rights of their children within court procedures.

It also provides answers to important questions which may emerge when a child is going to participate in a trial, such as information on relevant legal regulations, the scope of competence of the police, the prosecutor, and the court, as well as interviewing procedures. The booklet was initially published in Poland and then translated, adapted and printed in Bulgaria, Latvia and Lithuania. This publication was financed from the European Commission's programme AGIS.

You can download the brochure in Polish, Bulgarian, Latvian and Lithuanian version.
