Center Slniecko

Center Slniecko is a non-profit organization operating from 2000, with a mission of providing complex assistance to abused children and victims o family violence, and supporting them in finding solutions to their problems.

 

 

Main activities carried out by the Center:

• Shelter for abused and neglected children and victims of family violence providing family therapy and therapy through play.

• Legal counseling for victims of family violence.

• National preventive and educational programmes („Beating will not change the school marks" campaign and World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse).

• Helpline for children.

• Raising funds for improving system of support for family violence victims in Slovakia.
