Czechs make possession of child pornography criminal offense

The bill also raises the maximum jail sentence for producing and distributing child pornography from three to eight years.

The lower chamber of the Czech Parliament passed the bill in June but it was rejected by the upper house, the Senate, the following month. The lower chamber last month overturned the Senate decision.
