On the 21st and 22nd October 2008, the
III International Juvenile Justice Observatory Conference will take place in Valencia, Spain. The theme of this year's conference is
"Juvenile Justice Systems in Europe: current situation, trends in applicable models and good practices".
The aim of the conference is to analyze juvenile justice systems, action models and intervention programmes applied in EU Member States and to make recommendations for harmonization of the systems across the EU. The resolutions adopted by Council of Europe, the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Parliament will serve as a reference. Organizers are hoping to gather different professionals and experts in the field of juvenile justice, to share their experience and knowledge.
