Trainings for prosecutors and judges in Moldova

25 prosecutors and 49 judges from Moldova were trained within a series of 3 trainings regarding assisting cases of child abuse. The participants of the trainings deepened their knowledge and received useful information on the following aspects:

 

 

 

· Familiarization with international and national legislation in the field of juvenile justice

· National criminal legislation and its compliance with international standards

· Hearing children in the criminal procedure: psychological aspects and challenges

· Tactics of hearing minor witnesses or victims and the role of psychologist

 

The training also launching of “Child – Witness with Special Needs” campaign and distribution of posters developed within this campaign.
